Big Slick Handles The Pressure To Go Back To Back!

The Outskirts has always been very welcoming and this tourney was no different, and we were all happy to have "Scooter" back at the tables. Slick always has a full fridge of good drinks and great snacks to start off the tourney.

The Action at table 2 was very fierce with a lot of good hands, most amazing was how many hands the Marshal had that ended up as trips. He probably hit trips on 75% of the cards possible, Great Luck! He was definitely chip leader at "Table 2" most of the night. I can honestly say I have no idea about anything that happened on "Table 1" because I had no plan to write this page and had avoided it for 7 months. The only thing I did notice was the fact that Slick was very low for a while early on before he began his fight and quest for B2B.
At break we ate good pizza from Papa John's, an even better salad from Scooter, and a buffalo dip that was equally as good. And we watched a Dodger pitcher get hit in the head (which you don't see everyday) and we watched The Saw do some damage on the slot machine.

When the "REAL" tourney began we went at least an hour or so without a K-O, then just like that the Big Mac was gone. Then YES, I am shocked too, but yes "E" was next to be sent packing or should I say napping which is what she did on the couch for a while, waiting for another game. Then it was Sandy's turn, that was a bummer!! Then right before my demise Scooter went out. Then as I said "This is the best hand I've had in a long time" a K-10 off, I moved all in. And just like I said earlier, Marshal got trip Jacks and sent me to this. Then the Marshal took out the other Burmese Cat, I mean Python, The Saw. SORRY!! Two in one night, WOW!

Then as we lost a few more players and Slicks chip stack began to grow, we landed the final table with Slick, Marshal, Guapo, Cha Cha, Diego, Sponge, and Jeremy, all seeking the championship. Cha Cha was first to go, then Big Daddy Guapo, then the Sponge, then Jeremy and Diego went up against Marshal for the right to face Slick heads up and came up short, so that brings us to the final two, Slick vs. Marshal, with Slick looking to go B2B for the first time ever and Marshal looking to take over the tours overall points lead from me. Marshal gave it everything he had but the cards went cold for him and for Slick everything he got towards the end turned into a straight. Valiant effort Marshal, But congrats are in order for the Two-Time year-end Tournament Champion "Slick" for going Back 2 Back for the first time Ever!!
