Big Slick takes trophy home at last!

Yes, its true, after many months of pining, Big Slick will have the coveted SBPT trophy home for the holidays. 

After six hours of fierce tournament play Big Slick eliminated Senior Guapo to even up the chip stacks and move into heads up action against "Awe In" Emma.  It was an intense battle requiring a full time dealer and two full time (manual) shufflers to keep up with these two power houses exchanging the chip lead with every hand. The culmination of this battle was Big Slick taking it to the river for a straight to take out the poker diva and win the first place braggin' rights.

SBPT History Made

The December tournament brought us our first four of a kind hand.  "Awe In" Emma put the screws to "The Kid" with an all in bet.  The board was showing three dueces as "The Kid" struggled with a very difficult lay down.  This proved to be one of his best plays of the night as "Awe In" turned over the fourth duece.....  Nice lay down kid!

And that wasn't the end of Emma's fantastic run, as she also took home the head hunter award when she took out MC Ronnie.  Thanks Emma for making sure the trophy moved on from Casino de Loco!
