Turtle Survives the Missacre!!!

    Turtle was the last one standing at the Valentines Missacre as another tourney made it's way into the books.  After a late change of date, the field was narrowed to seven players, but we came close to starting on time and things got off to a fun start on Turtles new table.  The fake hour saw Turtle jump out to an early big lead, which he would never relinquish.  The break provided PLENTY of Pepperoni and Jalapeno pizza (thanks Mac!). 

    After we got our re-buys in we started back up, and it wasn't long before we were down to our chip players, courtesy of brutal river beats. After Cha-Cha had his dance card punched, we were arm locked in a heads up between El Guapo and Turtle. Turtle played great big stack poker to keep anyone from really challenging his stack, so when the cards started flying I needed a  couple double-ups to make it interesting. I had an A-9 off, and when I caught an Ace on the flop I knew I would be all in, Turtle got me there, and when turned 'em up his set of Deuces all but spelled my doom. After the carnage was over, Turtle got his 8th crown, and we get to do it all over again right away!!
