Spongebob Soaks Up The Competition

A record number of 17 players participated in the SBPT  2005 opener.  After 11-1/2 exhausting hours of play, Sponge was the last player standing in victory with the coveted SBPT trophy.  Yes everyone will agree it was a tough, grueling event, however that was predicted by players in poker talk.

 Thanks to the defending trophy holder and Scooter for hosting this momentous event. 

What else can I say, it's hard to brag with such controversy surrounding this event.
