TRANSFORMER SIGHTED! PARIS OVERRUN: 7 CONFIRMED DEAD!!!

The sweltering heat in Harbor Pines did little to ease the chill that fell over Casino De Paris. After the defense of last months assault, few remained with the heart to wage further battle. The chill first made its presence felt when the failure of reinforcements to arrive delayed the battle, and forced everyone to divide into 2 separate groups. The Casino placed a commando at each table, but it was apparent that the Sponge would not be able to hold out long.

The first sighting of a Transformer came as Mr. Clean constantly being backed into a corner, morphed into the Turtle. His slow reads and decision making let everyone know he was there for a marathon, not a race. The second presence of the chill was more obvious as the chilidogs made their way to the foxholes, providing a nice full feeling for those that attended. The presence of Nachos was a surprise, but failed to distract the assailants enough to be effective (they were quite tasty though).

The real action began after the break, and that’s where we found out that we were all fighting an unknown enemy…The Steamroller!  The Turtle transformed, and took the form of a slow, steadily moving steamroller, crushing all who stood before him. The last presence of the chill was found in the decks, as the cards ran cold for everyone at the worst times possible. Steamroller flattened the Sponge, then made quick work of the Saw.  He then lay dormant until the final table, where he slowly, crushed everyone in his path to victory!!! The K-10 of El Guapo could not pair up, and his A-10 rolled him over.

He then went for the big fish, and flattened Sandy to capture the headhunter award, and more chips to fuel his mighty engine. His 9 on the river gave him a King high straight, and left the Snake with a straight to the Queen. We all know that it’s never good to be under a steamroller, and the Snake was squashed before he could slither to safety. That left a Scooter against a steamroller… ‘Nuff said.  His A-8 paired and left the Scooter out of gas and under his mighty wheel as he finished his destruction of the final table.

The impressive way he took out 7 of 9 competitors will not soon be forgotten. That is arguably the single best S.B.P.T performance to date.  The Transformers are real, and we have one to deal with now. Behold the Steamroller!! and know that the only way to stop him is to prevent him from gathering momentum!! We shall have to wait and observe, as more players may reveal their true identities…
