Chilidog’s the Shnitz (A.K.A. "The Big Weiner") after splattering the competition!!

Don’t be fooled by the SBPT, She’s still Jenny from the RPV. The June Jamboree became a Chili cook-off, as J-Ro showed she’s still got game.  In an impressive display of fortitude, Chili simmered ‘till the end and became the last Y standing in a battle of the babes.  It was a small, but skilled group that found it’s way to the lone table at Little Hill Casino for the 6th match in this third season. The Hill’s new additions and outdoor arena were a very nice change of pace, and provided a fantastic atmosphere to play in (if you missed it…YOU MISSED IT!).

The abbreviated field of 8 made any mistakes fatal, and any bad beats hard to recover from. Chili set the tone early as she took about two-thirds of MC’s chips on the first hand.  That led to a lot of positioning in the first hour as we headed for the showdown.  After the break, and much-needed breeze, we settled in for the long haul and traded chips for the most part.  In what has to be the WORST read to date, MC got Slick and El Guapo to fold to his all-in bet, with El Guapo tossing away a set of 5’s, to a board of A-Q-5.  The Poker Fool folded to MC’s mighty K-7 (revealed after) to take the early lead in the TWABBER AWARD.

Memphis was the first to go, after Slick showed the nut flush to take all his chips.  El Guapo was out next, after losing a big pot with 6’s to Slick’s 7’s on busted straight draws for both.  The Assassin got the kill on the next hand after she flopped a straight, and Pablo couldn’t turn or river the four-card flush he went in with.

MC was third out as Scooter ran him over with her flush.  The Saw was next as her pair of 9’s fell to the stench of Fartman’s set of A’s.   Slick ran out of gas next, as Scooter sped away with his chips in her stack, and his head on her handlebars!!

Fart’s blasted his way to third with solid play, but couldn’t avoid the speeding Scooter as she ran him down and went heads-up with J-Ro, even stacked, and determined to win.  The early aggressive play by Scooter put her in the lead, and it looked as if the tent wouldn’t fall on this one-woman show. Chili regrouped, and after simmering all day, boiled over and took back the lead as Scooter strayed from the trail that got her there.  They finally landed heads-up with Scoots in the pre-flop lead. Luck wasn’t with her, as Jen flopped the lucky 7 that would prove to be the winner.

It was an enjoyable afternoon of poker.  Many thanks to the staff at Little Hill, quite an impressive display of how to host.  And for those that didn’t make it, you missed a good one. We even had a preview of the future of the SBPT, as our newest player, Bukkake, made a brief cameo!  Thanks to the mom’s that came and supported the day, and bring your chips as we head to the Chili Pot for July’s tourney!!!
