Marshal Charms The Snake, Captures 2nd Title!

Apologies to Marshal for taking so long to get this out!

    The smallest SBPT tourney to date didn’t faze the 6 players that managed to find their way to the cozy confines of the Casino De Paris Final Table.  The first hour didn’t prove too eventful, as Sponge and Slick got out to early leads. Marshal showed early aggression that would prove to be beneficial in the end.

    The break brought a tasty meal of pizza and hot wings.  We also enjoyed some B-day cake celebrating the Sponge and Mac Tonight getting one year closer to death!!  The second hour saw the early deaths of Sandy and Mac Tonight, leaving us with our Chip Winners for October. This is where a special thanks goes out to the Tortuga for finding his way to the casino to see how things were going, and immediately offer to be our dealer. 

    Marshal looked to be on the brink of elimination, only to go on a string of double-ups through Snakes large stack.  His aggressive pushing and survival had him suddenly one of the larger stacks and poised to make the big push for numero dos.  The Sponge wrung out in fourth, and El Guapos stack finally ran out in third, but he did manage to sneak in a straight flush before exiting. That left us heads up for Grace Land and SBPT glory.  It only took a few hands before the stacks were in the middle, and Marshals Queens dodged the looming Ace Snake needed to stay alive.  We find ourselves under Marshal law again, with only two tourneys left to crown our tour winners… See you all at the burning hellfire of the Inferno!
