On a deck of cards, the king of spades represents David, King of Israel; the king of Clubs represents Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia; the king of Hearts is Charlemagne, King of France; and the king of Diamonds is Caesar Augustus, Emperor of Rome.
This month’s useless trivia:

This month’s rant:
It appears that I have contracted the Madden Curse!!! The “curse” is well documented as bringing down the current player featured on the games cover with an often-major injury. This year’s victim is Shaun Alexander of the Seahawks, (broken foot). Past victims have included Marshall Faulk, Ray Lewis, Eddie George, and multiple others. My version of this “curse” is that every time I am poised to make a run at my first Tour victory, an unexplained and unforeseen Bad Beat ball kicks me, sending me home holding a bruised ego and sack that takes most of the next month to recover from. After consulting the hand calculator to confirm I had made the right choice, I am left to stare blankly and curse the “curse” for sitting like a gargoyle on my shoulder at yet ANOTHER tourney, and waiting for the right moment to announce it’s presence in “the hand” (that ONE hand each game I CAN’T seem to ever emerge victorious from) DAMN THE MADDEN CURSE!!!!!!!!!
