Pocket 6 Layer Dip
A favorite that has been brought to many S.B.P.T. events, dating back to 2004
Items needed:
One 9 X 9 X 2- 1/2 inch aluminum poultry pan
One can refried beans
16 ounce container of sour cream
Four avocados
Two McCormick's Spicy Great Guacamole packets
One bottle Pace Hot Picante` sauce
One small can sliced olives
16 ounce bag of Kraft Mexican Four Cheese, pre-grated cheese
Step 1.
Remove pits from avocados and mix with spice packets in a large mixing bowl. Refrigerate for about an hour so the spices can absorb into the avocados.
Step 2.
Smear entire can of refried beans on bottom of aluminum poultry pan.
Step 3.
Layer Guacamole over refried beans to liking.
Step 4.
Layer sour cream over guacamole to liking.
Step 5.
Layer Pace Picante` sauce over sour cream to liking.
Step 6.
Drain olives and sprinkle over Picante` sauce
Step 7.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top as thick as you like.
Step 8.
Chill for an hour to let ingredients set up and serve!
